Since its beginning, Dating Naked is a headline grabber. That is not astonishing, because so many programs on cable tv that prominently feature people that are naked headlines. This time around, the truth series that is dating getting attention perhaps perhaps not as a result of debate, but alternatively a termination. The news headlines perhaps seems even worse than it really is, as VH1 President Chris McCarthy describes Dating Naked Season 4 will not take place, but there may be something different.
We now haven’t made intends to go it ahead to Season 4; we think it is an excellent, enjoyable structure, we wish the chance at some time to reinvent it. But for now, we felt the programs and assets that people are making more sense as we go to the season.
Therefore, no more Dating nude until stated otherwise, which will place a damper in anybody’s plans that included Dating Naked Season 4 party events. Fortunately, Chris McCarthy did leave the door open for a reboot associated with the show, that should please fans. But just exactly how precisely can you reboot a show like Dating Naked?
I am unsure there’s a real option to simply just just take this kind of concept like Dating Naked and expand it or switch it into something different.
Possibly by the addition of a component of risk, then again it is simply Naked And Afraid with additional love much less puking. Possibly flip the script and take action like “One evening Stand With Clothes On,” although that seems stranger. My real recommendation is to possibly have superstars do casual dates (while nude) or do such as a nude team date? I suppose if it had been that simple to change the show, we would be seeing it for Season 4!
As their Deadline interview states, Chris McCarthy is within the procedure of changing VH1 into a brand that is reinforcing. McCarthy first oversaw the revitalization in VH1 programming some time straight right back, together with community has seen such excellent results that cousin section MTV (of which McCarthy can be President) is undergoing the exact same procedure. With 4 out of 5 of cable tv’s top dramas that is unscripted their system currently, programs like Dating Naked as well as the Amber Rose Show will probably be nixed for lots more fresh tips to are presented in and ideally continue steadily to grow their audience.
Sad news for fans of Dating Naked, nonetheless it appears like VH1 is gearing around introduce a complete lot more shows reality fans will love through the entire remainder of 2017.
Never offer your self a hassle wanting to continue along with these show that is new and premiere dates, which is our work!
You will find any returning and brand new programs coming away day by time on our midseason premiere guide and summer premiere routine.
